Rule #877

When using a chainsaw, make sure the chain is properly adjusted, make sure you wear safety goggles, and DON'T cut off anything that is attached to YOU.

Country people don't wear safety goggles when cutting wood. Or gloves. Or chaps, or any other weird city slicker thing.

For your information, Uncle "Stubby" lost his hand in the corn picker. He is still the best one-handed wood cutter in the country!
