Rule #672

Think about this; God went through all the trouble of doing the virgin birth thing with Mary, having Jesus raised up only to be sacrificed, so that we could all be forgiven for our sins.

Why not skip all that and just forgive us for our sins?

P.S. Please note the difference between a rhetorical question and an actual question.

It's like God saving a few people after a plane crash, instead of just keeping the plane from crashing.

Cause somebody had to pay for our sins. Duh! Anyways, it's more memorable this way.

Ahh, killing Jesus only pays for a few sins... what about all the others?

Sacrificing his son was the greatest sacrifice God could make, and he made it to pay for our sins. I have a rule.

Don't make a rule about something you don't understand.

But what about this rule, don't be so high and mighty about your fairy tales, we both think the others point of view is CRAZY.

P.S. It's a ridiculous story.

P.S. #2. We can choose to believe, or not believe, what we want.

I agree to disagree. But I pity you.

Pity... hummm.

Anyway, to each his own. Early man needed to make up stories to explain the world around them, dragons eating the moon to explain the cycles of the moon, etc.

I find it just fine to say "I don't know".... without any story.

But, the religious and the not religious aren't going to find middle ground on this subject.

I don't pity the religious, I just think they're a bit gullable.
